Shine + Community

The SHINE branch – where we nurture and empower students to discover their potential through family-friendly, wholesome educational content that respects their beliefs and values. Students are then given opportunities to take their gifts and talents to serve the community through our various outreach teams, as well as cultivating leadership skills by interning, coaching, and assisting Team Illuminate.

Our Outreach Teams are at the core of the company, bringing free performance art and service to our neighborhoods and communities. There are four to choose from!

Salt + Light

Our Performance Outreach Team in it’s 11th year. This team brings energetic music, original sketches, and children's theatre in engaging, inspirational performances. They perform at schools, youth groups, community festivals, and wherever they're requested.

Serve Up

A Service Outreach Team supporting our community in practical ways. Whether it's picking up litter around the city, helping with gardening at the library, assisting the art museum with setting up displays, or cleaning up around Capron Park Zoo, they're happy to lend a hand!

The Luminators

An exclusive Puppet Team bringing wholesome, inspiring puppetry to YouTube and to the community. Trained by professionals, their shows are fun, engaging, and heartwarming. Meet Fanta+Guy and the Sockapella and be inspired by this creative team! Serving schools, libraries, community festivals and more with free puppet shows.

Media Team

Working with film, photography, and graphic design, the media team is coached by professionals to serve illuminate and to serve the community.
