The Board of Directors at illuminate is made up of illuminate families, community neighbors, and alumni. Their purpose is to steer the company forward, backed by the Membership of illuminate, laying the foundation for future generations.

The purpose of the board of Directors is to:

Support the mission statement of the company.

Select and support the Executive Director.

Ensure effective planning.

Monitor and strengthen programs and services.

Ensure adequate financial resources.

Protect assets and provide proper financial oversight.

Build a competent Board of Directors.

Ensure legal and ethical integrity.

Enhance the organization's public standing.
The next Board of Directors will likely be ushering illuminate into its new residency at the newly re-opened Union Theatre in Attleboro.
