Special Effects Makeup Workshop (ages 8+)

Makeup Artist James Friedman is back offering another Special Effects Makeup Workshop—this time focused on our upcoming Middle School MainStage production of “SpongeBob, Youth Edition!” Free for all thanks to a grant from the Mansfield Cultural Council.

After graduating with a Bachelor in Industrial Design Technology from the Art Institute of Pittsburg, James began working as a set and prop builder for Fisher Price's "Little People." He next switched gears from a stop-motion series to a live action PBS puppet show called "It's A Big Big World." For this production he designed and fabricated props ranging from Fossils to 8 feet long foam tree branches that had to blend with a CGI background.
